Ostatni mecz fazy grupowej Euro 2016 polscy piłkarze rozegrają 21 czerwca przeciwko Ukrainie. Obiektem zmagań będzie Stade Velodrome, który może pomieścić 67 548 kibiców.

Stade Velodrome pod względem pojemności jest drugim stadionem francuskiej imprezy. Na obiekcie w Marsylii zostanie rozegranych w sumie sześć spotkań Euro 2016. Największym problemem organizatorów jest obecnie stan nawierzchni boiska na Velodrome. - To nie murawa, to tragedia - mówił selekcjoner Francuzów Didier Deschamps po spotkaniu Trójkolorowych z Albanią w Marsylii.

O kiepskim stanie murawy przekonali się w poniedziałek reprezentanci Polski. Biało-czerwoni oficjalny trening przed konfrontacją z Ukrainą przeprowadzili poza stadionem, żeby jeszcze bardziej nie pogarszać jej stanu. - Stan murawy nie będzie miał wpływu na naszą grę. Zresztą byliśmy się po niej przejść i nie jest aż tak dramatycznie - komentował z kolei na poniedziałkowej konferencji prasowej Adam Nawałka. - Każdy z nas na pewno grał już w swoim życiu na gorszej nawierzchni niż ta, jaką widzieliśmy - podsumował Sławomir Peszko.
