"Wszyscy piłkarze Romy mają zakaz robienia sobie zdjęć z Drake'iem aż do końca sezonu" - poinformowało oficjalne konto klubu na Twitterze. To nawiązanie do "Klątwy Drake'a", której ofiarą padło już wielu zawodników.

"Klątwa Drake'a" to fenomen odkryty niedawno przez internautów. Każda drużyna czy sportowiec, któremu kanadyjski artysta wyrazi wsparcie, przegrywa najbliższy mecz. Ostatnią ofiarą klątwy padł Layvin Kurzawa, którego PSG przegrało z Lille aż 1:5. Francuski obrońca nie może mieć sobie wiele do zarzucenia. Wszedł na boisko na ostatnie pięć minut, kiedy wynik był już ustalony. Chociaż może gdyby nie zdjęcie z Drake'iem mecz potoczyłby się zupełnie inaczej?

AS Roma postanowiła nie ryzykować, ustanawiając zakaz zdjęć z Kanadyjczykiem do końca roku. Klub słynący z zabawnej działalności w mediach społecznościowych znów "rozbił bank" - wpis w ciągu 12 godzin "polubiło" prawie 100 tys. osób.

W ostatnich tygodniach "Klątwa Drake'a" dosięgnęła m.in. Pierre'a-Emericka Aubameyanga (0:1 z Evertonem), Paula Pogbę (1:2 z Wolverhamptonem w Pucharze FA) i Sergio Aguero (zmarnowany rzut karny w meczu Ligi Mistrzów z Tottenhamem). Wcześniej Kanadyjczyk zapeszył m.in. gwiazdę UFC Conora McGregora przed walką z Chabibem Nurmagomiedowem, tenisistkę Serenę Williams, klub NBA Toronto Raptors i koszykarską drużynę z Kentucky.
