Wilde Donald Guerrier w Apollonie. Gol w debiucie
Guerrier, gracz Wisły w latach 2013-2016, który rodzinę stworzył z krakowianką Zuzanną, minione dwa i pół roku spędził w Azerbejdżanie. Jesienią był zawodnikiem Karabachu Agdam. Ten etap kariery i życia postanowił jednak zakończyć. W lutym wylądował na Cyprze.
Apollon zatrudnił Donalda do walki o mistrzostwo. Guerrier zadebiutował w meczu z Enosisem Neon Paralimni i było to prawdziwe wejście smoka! Guerrier pojawił się na placu w 67 minucie. A w 69, po centrze z rzutu rożnego, mocno zagłówkował na 1:0. Jego zespół wygrał ten mecz 2:1.

W drugim meczu... czerwona kartka
To był koniec fazy zasadniczej w cypryjskiej ekstraklasie. Fazę mistrzowską Guerrier, lewy obrońca, zaczął już w podstawowym składzie. W spotkaniu z Anorthosisem Famagusta pograł jednak tylko 22 minuty. Dlaczego? Bo w powietrznym starciu o piłkę zdzielił rywala łokciem w głowę. Apollon wygrał 2:0 i pozostaje w grze o mistrzostwo. Miejsca w europejskich pucharach na przyszły sezon jest już w zasadzie pewien, bo pierwsza trójka odjechała reszcie drużyn. Apollon i AEL Limassol mają po 62 punkty, a prowadząca Omonia Nikozja 66. I właśnie Omonia będzie najbliższym rywalem Apollonu, 3 kwietnia.
Powrót do reprezentacji Haiti
Zanim to nastąpi, Guerrier wystąpić ma w dwóch meczach reprezentacji Haiti, która 25 marca zmierzy się z Belize i 28 marca z Saint Lucia w ramach kwalifikacji do mundialu 2022 w Katarze. Były wiślak ostatni raz w kadrze zagrał w listopadzie 2019 roku, później zapowiedział, że to koniec jego reprezentacyjnej kariery. Zdanie jednak zmienił i dał się powołać nowemu selekcjonerowi, którym został Pierre Jean-Jacques, były haitański piłkarz.
