Arsenal Londyn wygrał 4:1 z FC Basel. Drużyna Arsene'a Wengera była zdecydowanie lepsza i zasłużenie wygrała. Hattrickiem popisał się Lucas Perez, a jedną bramkę dołożył Alex Iwobi. Honorowe trafienie dla gospodarzy zanotował Seydou Doumbia. Zwycięstwo dało Arsenalowi wygranie grupy A, bowiem swoje spotkanie niespodziewanie zremisowało Paris Saint-Germain.
